PIFA Champions tour kicked off on 1st May with training by Gary Judge (UEFA A) and Hannah Connnor from Liverpool.
The camp included one day training at EPL academies - Liverpool, Manchester City, West Bromwich & Manchester United.

PIFA Colaba FC U 14 boys beat Chauhan FC 2-0 to win the Karnatak Sporting Association Open Futsal Tournament.
The had thrashed PDP 12-0 in their opening game.
ACADEMY : PACT 2013
PIFA All Center Tournament (PACT) was held on 13 April 2013 in two locations this time. Children below 13 played at the Santa Cruz center, while children above 13 played at the Bandra centre.
It was a day for all students to show their skills and perform in a stress free environment.

Academy : Exciting new training program
PIFA is launching an exciting new program to help develop skills that are so important to help young kids develop into outstanding players.
Starting January 2013, the latest training methods employed by our international affiliates in Barcelona, Liverpool and Milan will be enforced. The skills will bundled into modules to help the kids develop and harness their skills. 24 hours training session completed in 12 weeks.
The program is designed by UEFA licensed coaches.
The DRIBBLING MODULE - PLAY LIKE MESSI will be the first module to be launched.

Players will be given once/twice a week training at one of the PIFA centers to prepare them to play in the MDFA league in 2012.

Coaches from UK Vlad & Tony both experienced youth coaches kicked off the PIFA International Camp in Dehra Dun at the Unison World School from 22-25 November 2012.
Thirty one girls enrolled for this camp, this camp being the 32nd camp in India in 8 years.

TODDLERS : PIFA Toddlers Football Program

PIFA TODDLERS is a fun filled pre-school introductory program in football and fitness.
It is broken down into multiple modules of 12 sessions each and is conducted in a pressure free and play group environment.
The Programme:-
- Follows the ‘fun, motivate then challenge’ pattern
- Fine-tunes a child’s basic balance, agility and co-ordination
- Develops important social skills like listening, sharing, taking turns and teamwork
- Works on improving a child’s physical dexterity, particularly in the lower limbs and feet through a variety of ball-balancing games
- Is conducted in a safe and friendly environment with ‘fun play equipment’
- Each session is a 45 minute fun filled class and has a 1:6 coach to child ratio.

Nirvan Shah, PIFA Director & UEFA coach successfully completed Mr Lutz Pfannenstiel's - Goalkeeping course, the 'Art of German Goalkeeping' organised by AIFF in association with the Deutscher Fußball-Bund -DFB and the Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund (DOSB -German Olympic Sports Confederation)
The training was held at the Cooperage Football ground from 8-15 October 2012 and hosted by WIFA.

EVENT : PIFA NSCI Tournament 2012
NSCI hosted the first ever football tournament for the members. Football was introduced to the club by PIFA 2 years ago. PIFA organised this one day football fest for over 50 member children on 14 Oct at the West lawn.
This edition had only 2 age groups U8 & U12.

Academy : Directors attend AIFF Coaching Seminar
PIFA Director Nirvan Shah And Technical Director Faruk Ahmad were both invited to participate with 63 other AIFF recognised elite coaches and selectors for a week long AIFF Coaching Seminar at the AIFF Regional Academy in Vashi.
Mr Rob Baan, All India Football Federation, Technical Director, wanted PIFA to promise him, that we will come back to him within a month with a kid who we believe has the potential to play for India in the future. He has appointed PIFA as his scouts.
Indian National Coach Wim Koevermans has stressed that the Indian team will be playing 4:3:3 system.

Within a month of being appointed football training partners to Holy Family High School, Chakala, the school lifted the 5th Derek D'Souza Memorial Football - Runners up trophy. The school also won the best striker award.

PIFA kicked off its 27th European camp this time to Manchester. The campers werer treated to a training session at Liverpool academy.
HIGHLIGHT : Training at Coaching Connexions Academy, Tour of Manchester United's Old Trafford, Liverpool's Stadium Anfield & Everton's Goodison Park & Museum and Alton Tower amusement park.
TEAM : Faruk Ahmad appointed as Head Coach
Faruk Ahmad (UEFA / AFC - A licensed) has been appointed as Head coach for PIFA Colaba FC teams as well as Teachnical Director of the academy.
His first assignment was the PIFA Colaba FC U15 team that participated in the NIKE MUPC India Tournament 2012. The team won the West & South Zonals and came runners up in the All India Finals.

PIFA have been appointed as traininig partners for the Bombay Gymkhana Women and U19 Boy's Colts Team for the year 2012-2013.
The training will be headed by UEFA Coach Nirvan Shah and PIFA coach Kanu. The aim of the training is to develop a tactically & technically strong team to compete in various tournaments in and out of Mumbai.

TEAM :PIFA finish runners-ups of the All India U-15 Nike MUPC 2012.
Premier India Football Academy (PIFA) under 15 students from the Elite training entered the finals of the NIKE - Manchester United Premier Cup tournament played at the SESA Academy football ground Goa from 7-10 May 2012.
This was a fantastic result for PIFA considering this was their first appearance as a team in this tournament. Teams representing Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Goa fought for the West & South zonal title along with last years winner Salgaocar SC.
PIFA Colaba FC, Maharashtra topped their group by beating Youth Club Soccer Academy, Gujarat 4-1, Dunes FC, Goa 3-0 and drew 1-1 with Idukki Football Academy, Kerala. In the Zonal (west & south) semi-finals they beat Narmada FC, Madhya Pradesh 4-0 and in the finals beat defending champions Salgaocar SC 3-0.
In the All India semi finals they beat Idukki Football Academy, Kerala 3-0 PIFA Colaba FC after playing 6 matches in 3 days had to play the finals against a fresh Chandigarh FA side that had only played one match in the last 5 days. The exhausted PIFA Colaba boys conceded 2 goals in the 2nd half of extra time.
CFA were the winners of the North, Northeast and East Zonal leg which was earlier held at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur and consisted of teams from Assam, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Orissa, Punjab, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

CAMP : PIFA Summer camp held at Juhu Centre
Premier India Football Academy (PIFA) - 6th annual summer camp was held at Juhu on the 30th April. The 10 day long camp helped the participants to develop their passing, shooting and dribbling skills.
The camp was conducted by FA licensed coach Mr. Ruxton Vaz and designed by PIFA’s technical director Farukh Ahmad who is one of the few UEFA – A licensed coaches in India.
The participants were assessed at the end of the camp and will be awarded a participation certificate. Talented players were recommended to attend trials for the PIFA Colaba FC youth teams.
Nike was the official football sponsors for the Summer Camp.

PIFA successfully conclude the football training for NSS Hill Spring International School 2011-2012 with presentation of certificates and prizes to the students. This was the 3rd year.
The U16 team attained promotion from the 4th Division to the 2nd division in 2 years. They finished runners up in they 3rd division this year. All the school teams reached the quarterfinals.

EVENT : PFL 2011-12 winners Panthers

The First edition of the Premier Football League (PFL) ended on 3 March 2012.
It all came down to the final round match between Panthers and Cara Mitiez. The match was won by Panthers 2-1 and thereby winning the league.
PFL kicked off on 3rd December 2011, with 6 teams participating in this invitational league. Each team played one on Saturday mornings.
The first edition had 60 boys in the 14-15 years age group (U16) category participating in this fast paced 5 a side tournament.
The best player award was won by Jason Norohna and Fair play Award to Vikramaditya Joshi. Both players won prizes from NIKE.
Event : PACT 2012 a big success

Premier India Football Academy organised their annual PIFA All Centre Tournament (PACT) at Parel.
Around 180 children from all the PIFA centers participated in 3 age groups. The students were mixed and got to make new friends.
The children got a chance to show their skills in a stress free environment. Parents attended in huge numbers.
Music, food and loads of smiles.
Everyone was the winner.

PIFA Colaba FC U16 team lifted the Colaba Junior Football Trophy for the 2nd time in a row by beating Oscar Foundation 2-0 in the Finals.
Thirty teams participated in this 9 a side tournament specially organised by Mr Krishna Pawle, President of Aadhar Pratisthan to support the Colaba Backgardens football ground.

TEAM: PIFA COLABA FC are Nadkarni Cup Runners up
PIFA Colaba FC kicked of their pre-season Elite campaign playing the Nadkarni Cup tournament at RCF ground, Chembur.
They beat Central Railway on penalty shoot out (7-6) after being held to a goalless draw. The team then beat Mumbai FC U19 2-1 in the quarter-finals and Akbar Travels 3-1 in the semifinals.
The team is in the 104th Nadkarni Cup finals in their 1st appearance. They lost to i League team Mumbai FC in the finals.

TEAM : PIFA Colaba FC presented 3rd place trophy - MDFA Elite Div
Premier India Football Academy flagship team - PIFA Colaba FC Mens team finished the MDFA ELITE division season 2010-2011 in 3rd place.
The team finished with 14 points, ONGC finished 2nd on 15 points. Mumbai FC finished 1st.
Both the top 2 teams are AIFF - i league 1st divsion teams.
The MDFA Elite Division team had the following teams participating. Mumbai FC, Air India, ONGC, Union Bank of India, Akbar Travels, RCF, Central Railway, Kenkre FC, Mumbai Customs & Western Railway.

PIFA Colaba womens football team kicked off their season playing the the Bandra Womens League beating United Athletes 1-0 and holding Bodyline 0-0

TEAM : South African Consulate wins Super Cup
The South African consulate team coached by PIFA director Nirvan Shah won the SUPER Cup at the Corporate Tournament held at WTC, Cuffe Parade on 24 July 2011.
They beat Baskin Robbins 6-3 in the final game.

AIFF : PIFA Director becomes AIFF Instructor
Premier India Football Academy director Nirvan Shah has been certified to be an AIFF Instructor for grass root coaches. He attended the AIFF instructors course organised by WIFA in Mumbai from 11-20 July, 2011.

CAMP : PIFA Champions Tour to Liverpool Skills Winner - Neel Shah
The skills winner of the PIFA Champions Tour 2011 to Liverpool Academy was Neel Shah with 730 points, runner up was Yudi Jaising with 620 points.
This was PIFA's 24th camp to Europe and is slated to be one of the best camps ever. The camp had quite a few surprises included by Liverpool Academy. Lunch at the "Boot room" at Anfield as well as at "Cafe Sports" which is owned by Liverpool's Jamie Carragher, meeting Liverpool academy player John Flanigan, an hour session at Reducate, photographs with the UEFA Champions League Trophy plus the high level training conducted by Liverpool coaches on the astro grass pitches both indoor and outdoor and certificates signed by Ian Rush and Steven Gerard gift box for all campers.
The tour also included the usual visits to Anfield Stadium, Old Trafford Stadium and Alton Towers


CAMP : PIFA Champions Tour to London Skills Winner - Nimesh S.
PIFA Champions Tour to London finished with a skills contest which was closely won by Nimesh Solanki 630 points and Yash Agarwal 620 points came 2nd, both are PIFA students.
Akshay Mahimtura won the outstanding player of the camp and was gifted Gary Taylor Fletcher's playing jersey form the Tottenham match, it was signed by the Blackpool team.

CAMP : PIFA Champions Tour campers meet Peter Crouch
Children on the PIFA Champions Tour to London 2011 watched a very exciting Tottenham v Blackpool match at White Hart Lane Stadium which ended in a 1-1 score.
PIFA friend, England & Tottenham striker Peter Crouch and Blackpool mid Gary Taylor Fletcher came specially to meet the children.

PIFA Colaba FC picked up 6 points at the AIFF i League 2nd Divsion group C tournament being held in Madurai. And have finished 5th in their group.
They beat Chandni FC 3-1 & BEML 2-0
These a great victory for the team as they have being really playing well but have been unfortunate not to have beaten the first three teams.

Academy : PIFA associated with Liverpool
PIFA are proud to announce their association with Liverpool International Football Academy Soccer Schools. This association will help PIFA organise camps to Liverpool Academy facilities at Kirkby, Liverpool and maybe an opportunity to bring coaches from Liverpool to India.
The camp will give an opportunity for talented Indian children to be trained by UEFA / FA licensed Liverpool coaches and a chance to be spotted by the scouts.
This is truly a lifetime experience to train at the greatest club.

EVENT : Football Carnival - a great success
Premier India Football Academy’s event – ‘The Football Carnival’ benefited over 3000 people including kids, parents, coaches and the sports industry. The theme of the event was ‘Participate’ ‘Learn’ and ‘Enjoy’.
Over 800 kids participated in various contests such as a 5 a-side tournament, a Skills contest and a Freestyle contest. The Tournament consisted of two age groups; U-14 for boys and U-17 for boys and girls. The matches were played in a healthy and competitive spirit and officiated by quality referees. The ‘NIKE’ skills contest was divided into four zones; passing, shooting, dribbling and chipping. This tested the players’ true skill as their efforts were based on accuracy as well as time. Players with high scores won some exciting Nike goodies like shin guards, caps and t-shirts. There was also an entertaining Freestyle contest in which youngsters showed off their skills to rapturous applause from the watchingaudience. This contest hugely enhanced the entertainment factor as it brought an air of fun and excitement to the occasion. Prior to the carnival, hundreds of young kids took part in the online competitions such as ‘Design a PIFA Football kit’, ‘Create a Mascot’ and an essay on ‘India at the 2022 World cup’

PIFA Colaba FC mens team will play the I league 2nd division, this year.
With this the club and academy opens a new chapter. It will now be playing on an all India level.

TEAM: PIFA COLABA FC U-19 lift Runners up BFRA FAIRPLAY TROPHY
PIFA Colaba U-19 kicked off the BFRA Fairplay Trophy in style with a 2-0 win over Compenaroes in the first round with goals from Noel and Siddharth Singh.
The tournament which was held at St.Xavier's in Parel then pitted the PIFA side against Kenkre who they comfortably beat 3-0 to enter the finals. The winning trophy eluded the side though as they finished runners-up which is no mean feat in itself. Some excellent football was on display and the U-19 side were a joy to watch.

TEAM: PIFA COLABA FC U-16 team win Akhil Colaba Tournament
PIFA Colaba U-16 team won the Akhil Colaba Football Tournament held on 26 January 2011.
The young team did themselves proud by beating Magic Bus in the finals with Bandiya winning the Man of the Match award. The team's goalkeeper Pritam was adjudged to be the tournament's best goalkeeper. The Colaba Community tournament prize is an impressive addition to the team's trophy cabinet.

TEAM: PIFA COLABA FC U-17 team in MDFA 2nd division
The PIFA Colaba FC U-17 team has also been doing it’s best to emulate the Elite team.
The U17 team playing the 2nd Division has been nick named the "The Invincibles", as they remain unbeaten this season. After defeating RPF 1-0 the young boys still remain unbeaten in the MDFA 2nd division with 4 draws and 3 wins.

TEAM: PIFA COLABA FC round off great year
The Elite team this season played extremely well and were on the verge of a historic 3rd place finish in Mumbai's top division but a an unfortunate result will see us finish in the top 5, which is a superb result in its own right.
They also ended the I-League 2nd Division qualifying campaign on a high after beating Akbar Travels 2-1 in the playoff round to finish 3rd overall. The Colaba outfit were unfortunate to be defeated on penalties in the semi-finals but showed character to win at Cooperage on Wednesday. The goals came from Canopy Chu and Souvaid Ansari.

PIFA Colaba FC men's team qualified for the semifinals of the Maha League that was conducted at the Cooperage Stadium from Dec 1 to 9, 2010.
Eight teams from various Maharashtra districts participated in this competition. The top rankers of this tournament will get a chance to play the I league 2nd division.

AIFF : Kunashni appointed Vice Captain India U-16 Women

To be the best, train with the best
PIFA student Kunashni Parikh is India's No 1 Goalkeeper & Vice Captain for India U-16 national team. She will be playing the AFC Tournament to be held in Jordan.
This is the 3rd year in a row that players from Maharashtra selected to play for India have been associated with PIFA.
Earlier, Indian players were Hussain Vahanvaty, Aryaman Sethi, Calvin Lobo U-14, Natasha Merchant U-15, Harshad Meher & Ajit Bhoir U-16.
STATE : Director Anjali appointed selector
PIFA Director Anjali Shah has been appointed as the Maharashtra state selector for the U19 girls & boys.
She has been responsible for the conducting of U13, U14, U15, U19 & Senior womens team trials for Maharashtra. She has also been the manager of the teams.
Earlier this year, she was the Maharashtra's state representative at the coaching clinic held for the womens coaches conduct in Goa.
PIFA at Umang 2010
PIFA Directors Anjali & Nirvan were invited to N.M.College Annual Festival Umang to judge the football free style contest along with Dhanraj Pillai.
The winner was PIFA student Prathamesh Wadia.

PIFA Director Nirvan Shah was invited to The Conclave, Malhar 2010 to be part of the panel of judges alongside Sports Journalist Mr Ayaz Memon and Mr Sambit Bal (Cricinfo) for the Conclave.

Premier India Football Academy kicked of the 2nd annual football program for the school on 9 August 2010. The training is being held at Priyadarshani Park.
Last year, all teams that played the MSSA reached the qurter finals.

All three boys featured in the Maharashtra U-13 team that won the National Football Festival held in 2009 in Jamshedpur.
We are indeed proud to have 2 boys from PIFA CYFC - Ajit Bhoir and Harshad Meher played for India. DSO : Maharashtra U-14 team lift third place
The Maharashtra DSO U-14 boys team lifted the third place trophy at the 54th National School Games football tournament 2008-09. Twenty two state teams participated at this tournament organised by School Game Federation of India (SGFI) hosted by the Govt of Maharashtra, Dept of Sports & Youth Welfare.
PIFA Director Mr Nirvan Shah was the Maharashtra team Coach as well as the National selector for the India school team.
This is the first time that Maharashtra has finished in the top three of these tournaments.
STATE : Maharashtra U-14 girls felicitated by the Governor
The Ma
harashtra girls team that competed at the AIFF Under-14 Football Festival held in Chennai from 23 December 2008 to 1 January 2009 and finished second was felicitated by His Excellency S.C. Jamir, the Governor of Maharashtra on 3rd March at the Cooperage Stadium.
This is the first time in the history of Maharashtra football that a Maharashtra team has finished at such a high rank.
Mr Wali Mohammad (Asst Secretary of WIFA) announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for the team.
PIFA Director Mrs Anjali Shah was Team Manager, while Nirvan was the Maharashtra Coach.
ACADEMY : PIFA-Colaba U-17 played Inter Milan in South Africa

PIFA was invited to play the Gauteng Future Champions U-17 from 23–28 March 2009, organised by South African Football Federation.![]()
The tour was fully sponsored. The team was coached by PIFA Director Nirvan Shah.
The team did extremely well in the entire tournament, they scored one past Inter Milan. The tournament was won by Boca Juniors (Argentina), Esperance FC (Tunisia) came 2nd and Inter Milan came 3rd.![]()
South African Airways sponsored the air tickets. NIKE was the official playing kit for the team.

ACADEMY : PIFA students become FA coaches
PIFA stu Both boys finished in the top 4 of their class in their assessments and have been asked to do their Level 2 immediately. The boys are also certified in FA Child Protection and FA Emergency First Aid. PIFA welcomes these young lads as coaches into the academy.

ACADEMY : The PIFA Way - PIFA Coaching Level 1
PIFA has conducted the first PIFA Certification of Coaching children Level 1 course for Coaches on 2 August 2009. This 4 day course has helped the candidate to conduct their coaching session by understanding, thinking and evaulating young children. The training will also help the coaches prepare for the AFC C license program.The course also included first aid, dealing with children & psychology.
